"I got a great price on my bike here. The service dept is a little pricey, but they are the best around. I have been to about every shop on the south end, and I know what I'm going to get at RMC. I only wish that I could check the status of parts ordered by the service dept, to get a better idea of when the work will get done. Sometimes parts get back ordered and you end up waiting longer than you expect, with no word this can be very frustrating. Is there any way to do this?"

"I purchased my Yamaha XV1700 about 3 years ago from renton motorcycles via the internet sales department. everything then was perfect, easy and i was very happy. Today Saturday August 8 2009, I was preparing my motorcycle for the big Escort of the Dignity Vietnam Memorial Wall rally for August 9th. After i had washed and polished my bike, i was heading down to the gas station to top it off and i had a major rear tire blow out. This was approximately 330p on a Saturday. While i was waiting for a flatbed to pick up my bike, i called down to RMC explained to Jim Ackerman my situation, and asked if there was anything he could do. He told me. .if i could get my bike into the shop before close.. they would stay after and get that tire changed so i could do that ride on Sunday. He then put me in contact with the parts department.. and i'm sorry i didn't catch her name.. but she didn't see my tire in the computer, but went to the back and looked for and found my tire and called me back sayin they had it.
the purchase of the tire, and the replacement of the tire went very smooth.. LE down there in service knew of my situation and was very helpful and expidited the service for me. Everyone at RMC was SOO helpful and accomodating and stayed after .. i went back to service to deliver the tire i purchased at the parts dpt .. and my bike was the only one being worked on.. talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND! they even took the time to rub the blue off the white walls of the new tire..
i'm really happy with my bike.. but i'm even HAPPIER with the service and the people at RMC. high praise indeed for LE, and Jim for steppin OUT and UP to make my bike ridable for the Vietnam rally. wow. you have an excellent crew.
btw.. while i was waiting, i enjoyed a pint and dinner at the Irish pub. great service there too!

"I can't tell you how enjoyable our experience was at Renton Motorcycle Co.. After some bike shopping in the local area, w/lousy attitudes, salesmen w/blank stares watching the clock for closing time, this was so pleasant. From the moment we walked in...a "welcome" upon entry, seeing an easy to manuever floorspace w/ a huge selection of all brands, designated areas for clothing, parts, service, accessories, the store was large, very clean, well organized & smiles were everywhere. Nice! We wandered for about 8-10 minutes before landing on what we came to see. Both my husband & I were buying bikes. This place was nice to us BEFORE they even knew we were going to be purchasing 2! OUR salesman, Wayne Boggs, was attentive, smiling, he wasn't juggling 5 sales at once (& if he was he never let us know it, like we were the only ones in the store on Memorial Day w/sales going on & 100's [might I say 1000's while we were there] of people in & out nonstop [Smart to be open on a holiday]). He listened, got us prices, understood our offers, his rapid move's back & forth through the store & Bam! 2 deals done w/ everyone still smiling. We met the financial manager, parts staff, clothing staff, floor sales manager...everyone was wonderful. From being welcomed at the door to shaking hands outside at our truck after loading one of the bikes...our hats off to what sales & service should be all about. The customer's experience & great products."

"Overall, a great experience. The store itself is fun to visit. Lots of awesome bikes to look at and friendly people. If you're hungry, they even have a sports bar and grill and they serve a decent cheeseburger. Try the Texas Burger with fried jalapenos! I bought a pre owned KLR 650 and everyone made me feel like I was buying a brand new top of the line machine. Wayne was my internet sales guy and I found him to be friendly and accomodating. The sale went smoothly and I got a great bike for a reasonable price. I will continue to shop at RMC for my motorcycle needs and accessories, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. "

"Dave was my salesperson, and he did a great job.
I came from out of town to buy the bike, and we did our negotiations over the phone, and there were no suprises when I got to the dealership. He was also kind enough to pick me up from the airport.
He patiently explained the details of the bike to me, and made sure I understood how all the systems work.
When I noticed some minor scratches on a couple of trim pieces he send me replacements ASAP so I could correct the problem.
